MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS AMERICA DONATES $110,000 TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH ANNUAL “MCA DAY” GRANTS PROGRAM
SPARTANBURG, S.C., December 5, 2024 – Mobile Communications America (MCA), a leading provider of wireless communication solutions that enhance workplace safety, security, and operational efficiency, is proud to announce a $110,000 charitable contribution as part of the “MCA Day” Grants program. This milestone donation marks an exciting celebration of the company’s 11th anniversary and the fourth year of its giving initiative.
MCA Day Grants support community non-profit organizations dedicated to four critical focus areas: First Responders, Military/Veterans, STEM and technical/vocational education, and Public Health/Community Needs.

The grants are awarded to eligible organizations nominated and reviewed by a committee of MCA employees. Applications are evaluated on alignment with focus areas, program quality, details, and financial stability. This year, ten organizations across multiple states were selected to receive MCA Day Grants, each making a significant impact on their respective communities:
- Georgia – North Gwinnett Cooperative Inc. (Public Health & Community Needs)
- Michigan – Give-A-Kid-Projects (Public Health & Community Needs)
- South Carolina – PS I Love You Ministries (Public Health & Community Needs)
- Missouri – K9s For Camo (Military/Veterans)
- Kentucky – Mend the Line Inc. (First Responders/Veterans)
- Texas – Minuteman Disaster Response (First Responders)
- Maryland – Calvert Amateur Radio Association Inc. (First Responders)
- North Carolina – Bostian Heights Fire Department (First Responders)
- Georgia – Crisp County Sheriff Youth and Warrior Fund Inc. (Education)
- North Carolina – The Kids Outdoor Zone Inc. (Education)
This year’s program also included the launch of the MCA Emergency Relief Fund, funded by one of the MCA Day Grants. The Relief Fund aims to provide critical support to individuals and organizations affected by unforeseen emergencies such as natural disasters or other crises. “Founded in August 2013, MCA started with the idea that we could make a positive impact on this industry and on our people. Today we are more than 1,500 employees strong across 90+ locations in 15 states,” said Vince Foody, CEO of MCA. “Giving back to the communities we live in, work with, and serve is part of our service-first culture.
